The Symposium encompasses all relevant technology fields from material and component design to the integration of functions and the validation of smart structures and systems in practice.
In addition to traditional applications of active vibration, sound and shape control, lots of further applications such as Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) or Energy Harvesting will be addressed too.
Special attention is payed to technology transfer and related issues concerning the reliability, integration and efficiency of smart systems.
Innovation through the focused interlinking of research and application
4SMARTS enables the framework for an intensive exchange in the fields of Mechatronics and Adaptive Systems. The Symposium fosters cooperation and innovation in the fields of smart structures and systems.
An overview of the programme can be found here.
The Symposium will be accompanied by an exhibition. During the breaks and on the social evening, trade visitors and exhibitors will have the opportunity to enter into dialogue/discussion.
Take this chance to shape the 4SMARTS Symposium and come to share your ideas and knowledge at Braunschweig.
